Our reusable pads feature the same patented leak-proof technology as our period-proof underwear with an additional thin layer of waterproof material for extra protection.
First layer: moisture-wicking, antimicrobial technology quickly absorbs sweat and moisture while neutralizing odors to keep you fresh all day long.
Second layer: a super thin, highly absorbent liner that holds the power of 12-20 tampons.
Third layer: a secure, liquid-resistant outer layer keeps leaks from happening.
Fourth layer: another thin layer of waterproof material for extra protection.
KT Reusable Pads have a super discreet absorbent pad in the gusset liner that absorbs up to 12-20 tsp of blood, depending on which size you choose. Here’s the absorbency breakdown:
Petite: Holds up to 12 tsp of blood, which equals about 12 regular tampons or pads.*
Regular: Holds up to 12 tsp of blood, which equals about 12 regular tampons or pads.*
Overnight: Holds up to 20 tsp of blood, which equals about 20 regular tampons or pads.*
*Calculation is based on industry norms. Regular tampons and pads typically hold 1 teaspoon (5ml) of blood.
Each pad has a hook and eye closure on the wing that wraps around your underwear gusset. It won’t budge until you’re ready to remove it.
You don’t have to but you can. Our pads are designed to be worn with regular underwear but on really heavy days we like to pair them with period undies for more convenient changing. When the pad is full, remove it and wear your Leakproof or Super Leakproof Underwear alone for the rest of the day.
Fold the used pad into a square then use the closures to secure it. Toss the pad into a small baggie or pouch and rinse it out when you get home or before laundering.
Every period is different but we recommend changing your Reusable Pad when it starts feeling wet. The heavier your cycle, the more often you’ll need to change the pad.
Nope! The antimicrobial layer kills bacteria and crushes odor.
Do a quick rinse before you throw the pads in the machine. Wash on cold with mild detergent then tumble dry on low. That's it! Be sure not to use softener or bleach and never iron...not that you would.
Because they’re, well, pads—we can’t accept exchanges or returns.
