Our period swim bottoms contain a triple-layer gusset that absorbs your flow and locks in leaks, whether you're in or out of the water. When they go in the wash with detergent, the blood releases through the top layer—leaving your swimwear fresh and clean for next time. Yes, your other clothes will remain stain-free!


Here's the breakdown of our 3-layer leakproof technology:

Layer 3: A waterproof outer layer prevents swelling. 

Not always. When your flow is light, our swimwear can be worn alone without any additional period protection. On super heavy days, we recommend wearing a tampon or menstrual cup with your swimwear. Every period is different though, and we recommend doing whatever makes you feel most confident.

Machine wash cold and lay flat to dry. Do not bleach, iron, or dry clean.

Yes! All of our regular price swim bottoms and one-pieces are eligible for a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery, as long as the original sanitary strip and tags are attached. Our swim tops are eligible for a return or exchange within 30 days of delivery with original tags attached.


All items purchased as part of the Kt Vault Sale are final sale, meaning no returns, exchanges or refunds can be accommodated. For non-sale items our standard return policy applies. 

Absolutely! The leakproof liner built into all of our period swimwear is undetectable, so they look and feel just like regular swimwear.

Saved our trip!

I ordered these once I realized my 11 yo would have her period on our Mexican vacation. We were nervous about how they would actually hold up...but they are fantastic! She went from the pool to the beach and back again with zero leakage. We also ordered the bikini briefs and she just rotated wearing the two. Thank you Knix for putting a young girl's mind at ease and allowing her to just enjoy being a kid! This Mom is grateful and has already recommended to family and friends

Look like regular swimwear

We have had period swimwear before that was obviously thicker in the protected area and these totally do not have that. The quality is great and my daughter can easily use with any swim top when needed. Things that are not cons but that I didn’t quite realize before buying are: The coverage in the liner does not go up the back and the sizing ran on the smaller end of the range, not deal breakers just fyi. We will totally buy again when ready to size up.

Great Option!

My daughter is 20 and very slim (size small in teen swim) and there are so few options for her that aren’t designed kids. In the style she prefers, boy shorts, there’s basically nothing. Even without the period protection, these meet a huge need, having it makes them extraordinary. Highly recommend for quality, design, price, and filling a much needed gap in the market. Thank you.
